UPRIGHT '07 Jacksonville Fair Grounds

A Group of Local Christians, in conjunction with The Greater Jacksonville Agricultural Fair, have put together an afternoon of fun and Christian music. Admission to the Fair and the event is absolutely free with the presentation of a church bulletin at the gate!
The concept of Upright '07 was born when its organizer, Ryan McWhorter, realized that there was NO Christian entertainment scheduled for this year's fair. Ryan began rallying every contact he had to put together a day of great Christian music and unity to pitch to the fair. As more people and churches began to show great interest, Upright '07 grew into what, we believe, will be a great opportunity for our Christian community to stand up and be counted.
Three great Christian bands with vision and a heart for God from right here in our area will be taking the stage!!! They are:
Audible Vision - (below) This is a new band that has just been pounding the pavement playing an incredible amount of shows in their relatively short existence. They're lead vocalist (Stepheny Ramsey) brings a unique element to their melodic and sometimes melancholy sound. They have been compared to bands such as "Evanescence" and "Plumb".
The Timothy Ryan Project - (below) This band was born out of 12 years of song writing and music ministry right here in Jacksonville. TRP has as a huge heart for the people of this city and around the world. Their vision is to take their heart for people and for worship through every door that is opened to them. They are sure to bring some energy to the event as they help bring the Christian community of this city together. Their sound has been compared to groups such as "United Live" and "Pocket Full of Rocks".
All Worship One - (below) This band will be rounding out the afternoon and is sure to close it with a bang. They have had recent success at a national battle of the bands called "ShoutFest" and have been recently featured on 88.1 The Promise. I love this quote from All Worship One, " Jesus is our message, worship is our purpose, music is our tool." They have a true heart for God and are wonderful people as well as musicians. They are releasing their first CD just prior to our event and are truly excited about this awesome opportunity to serve our community. 
Epic Surf Ministries will also be volunteering handling giveaways, rallying the crowd, and keeping the fun and energy up and running between bands!
